Ezinne Athletics aimed to draw more young people from minority backgrounds, particularly girls, to athletics. This was challenging because many in the target group had a negative perception of the sport. The challenge was to build a brand that generated interest and positive associations with athletics.
To address this challenge, I began with a thorough analysis of the target audience and existing sports products. This helped us identify a visual language and design that the target group was already familiar with and would find appealing. Through this analysis, we gained insights into how to effectively communicate Ezinne Athletics' message.
Our main strategy was to develop a visual identity and website that appealed to youth and clearly reflected Ezinne Athletics' essence. The client was engaged throughout the process, ensuring that the final solution was well-aligned with their desires and needs. We focused on creating an identity that was both modern and inspiring, while maintaining a strong connection to the values of athletics.
I delivered a comprehensive brand identity and a functional website that reflect Ezinne Athletics' unique position in the athletics world. The website and identity were designed to attract and engage the younger target audience effectively, with an emphasis on creating positive associations with athletics.
